I am awful at titles, I’ve always been terrible at subject lines in emails too. Perhaps I’ll acquire that skill as we go through this process. #smallwins

I’ll keep this one short and sweet. Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow at 7:30am at Loyola. Our first step in beating this. I’m told surgery will last around two hours & I will be in the hospital for 2-3 days.

It goes without saying that tomorrow is going to be insanely hard and we will take all the prayers & positive thoughts we can get. My cousin BC texted me something the other day that has stuck with me, “we dont understand all His reasons, just trust blindly in His plans.” While we wish we could know the why to all of this, we can’t, so instead we are choosing to blindly trust that this will all be for a much bigger purpose. Thanks for thinking of us tomorrow, especially Kevin since I at least get to be knocked out through most of it. He’s the real MVP.

Fair warning though, it is Kevin’s job to update tomorrow!  I have a few trusted editors in place though, so you should be in good hands. 🙂 We must all find a way to keep our sense of humor through this.
